Copper Hydroxide 75% WDG acts as a broad-spectrum preventative barrier on plant surfaces (FRAC Group M01):

• Ion Release Mechanism: Upon application, moisture on the plant surface triggers the gradual release of Copper ions (Cu²⁺).
• Multi-Site Inhibition: Cu²⁺ ions are absorbed by fungal and bacterial spores. Once inside, they bind to proteins and destroy essential enzyme systems, disrupting cell metabolism and halting respiration.
• Resistance Management: Due to its multi-site action, pathogens are highly unlikely to develop resistance, making it an excellent rotation partner for resistance management programs.

This product must be applied preventatively before the onset of disease or at the absolute first sign of symptoms.

Copper is highly effective but requires strict adherence to safety guidelines to prevent phytotoxicity (plant damage):

• ⚡ Incompatibility & Tank-Mixing Restrictions (Crucial):
  • NEVER mix with strongly acidic or highly alkaline chemicals (e.g., Lime Sulfur, Bordeaux mixture).
  • Do not mix with foliar fertilizers or chelates containing heavy metals (Iron, Zinc, Manganese, Magnesium), as this can release excessive copper ions instantly and burn the crop.
  • Avoid mixing with Organophosphate insecticides, which can trigger chemical reactions leading to severe phytotoxicity.
• 🌱 Crop Sensitivity & Varietal Restrictions:
  • DO NOT apply to stone fruits (Peaches, Plums, Apricots, Cherries) or Persimmons once they have leafed out, as they are extremely sensitive to copper.
