Optimal control is achieved by applying the product during the peak period of 1st–2nd instar striped rice stem borer larvae; during the peak egg-hatching period or the booting/heading stage for yellow rice stem borer; and during the peak migration and damage period of adult rice water weevils.
Triazophos is an organophosphorus insecticide with strong stomach poison and contact-killing effects; this product is used to control striped rice stem borer, yellow rice stem borer, and rice water weevil in rice.
- To protect bees, avoid application during the crop flowering stage or near beekeeping areas. Do not wash application equipment directly in rivers or waters containing fish or other aquatic life; do not discard residual chemicals or waste packaging into rivers or other water bodies. Do not apply near mulberry fields during the sericulture season; prevent direct contact by poultry and birds.
- Wear protective gloves and clean protective clothing when using this product. Apply downwind if there is wind; avoid application during high temperatures or direct sunlight; wash with soap and water after application.
- The final application must be made at least 30 days before crop harvest; use no more than twice per crop season.
- Do not mix this product with alkaline substances. To delay the development of resistance, rotate use with insecticides that have different modes of action.
Store in a well-ventilated, cool, and dry place; protect from direct sunlight. Do not store together with other pesticides, food, seeds, or animal feed. Keep locked and out of the reach of children. Handle with care during transportation.
