Abamectin is a 16-membered ring macrolide compound derived from the fermentation of Streptomyces avermitilis. It exhibits potent insecticidal, acaricidal, and nematicidal activity, making it a valuable tool in crop protection.
Commercial Abamectin pesticide primarily consists of abamectin (Abamectin B1a + B1b), with B1a constituting not less than 90% and B1b less than 5%. Its efficacy is calibrated based on the B1a content.
