Product Performance
Copper oxychloride is a broad‑spectrum, protective inorganic copper fungicide and bactericide. After application, it adheres tightly to plant surfaces to form a stable protective film, resistant to rain wash. Under suitable temperature and humidity, it slowly releases copper ions, which bind with pathogenic proteins, denature proteases, inhibit spore germination and mycelial growth, and prevent infection by fungi and bacteria.
It is widely used to control bacterial and fungal diseases on citrus, cucurbits, tobacco, rice, potatoes, apples, grapes and other crops.
Mode of Action
- Action Type: Protective fungicide & bactericide
- Mechanism: Releases copper ions on plant surfaces to disrupt pathogen cell metabolism, denature proteins, and inhibit spore germination and mycelial development.
- Rainfastness: Good; forms a durable protective layer.
Directions for Use
表格
| Crop/Scenario | Target Disease | Application Rate | Method |
|---|---|---|---|
| Citrus | Canker | 600–800× dilution | Foliar spray |
| Cucumber | Angular leaf spot | 120–150 mL/ha | Foliar spray |
| Tobacco | Brown spot | 120–140 mL/mu | Foliar spray |
| Rice | Sheath blight, Bacterial leaf blight | Recommended dilution | Foliar spray |
| Melons | Downy mildew | Recommended dilution | Foliar spray |
| Potato | Late blight | Recommended dilution | Foliar spray |
| Apple | Alternaria blotch | Recommended dilution | Foliar spray |
Application Tips
- Begin spraying at the early stage of disease occurrence or before infection.
- Ensure full coverage of leaves, stems and fruits.
- Do not apply when rain is expected within 1 hour.
- Interval between applications: 7–10 days; 2–3 times per growing season.
Compatibility
- Do NOT mix with: Lime sulfur, resin formulations, mineral oils, strong acids or strong alkalis, thiophanate‑methyl, carbendazim.
- Compatible with most non‑copper, non‑sulfur fungicides and insecticides; test compatibility before tank mixing.
