Product Description: Probenazole (Allylbenzothiazole) 8% Granules (GR)
1. Product Performance
Probenazole is a plant defense activator (systemic acquired resistance inducer) of the benzisothiazole class, with protective and long-lasting disease control effects. It works by stimulating the salicylic acid-mediated defense signaling pathway, activating the plant’s natural immune system (increasing activities of PAL, POD, PPO) to resist pathogen infection. It is rapidly absorbed by roots and translocated to all plant parts; activity in vitro but provides excellent in planta disease suppression.
- Key advantages: Long residual activity (3–4 weeks), low resistance risk, safe to crops and environment, ideal for rice nursery and field application.
- Target diseases: Rice blast (seedling, leaf, neck blast), rice bacterial leaf blight; vegetable bacterial diseases (lettuce bacterial rot, cabbage black rot, Chinese cabbage soft rot, cucumber leaf spot).

Application Rate & Method (Broadcast Application)
Rice
- Nursery tray (seedling blast): 150–300 g per m² (12–24 g/m² a.i.), apply evenly on soil surface before sowing or at 1–2 leaf stage.
- Field (leaf blast): 1,666–3,333 g/mu (25–50 kg/ha), apply at initial disease stage; repeat every 7–10 days if needed.
- Field (neck blast): Apply at 3–4 weeks before heading (critical stage); one application provides 3–4 weeks protection.
- a.i. rate: 2.4–3.2 kg/ha (160–213 g/mu).
Vegetables (Bacterial Diseases)
- Rate: 2.4–3.2 kg a.i./ha (broadcast or soil incorporation before planting).
Key Application Notes
