Product Performance

Hexazinone is a systemic and residual triazine herbicide, absorbed by plant roots and foliage, then translocated throughout the plant. It inhibits photosynthesis, stopping energy production in susceptible weeds, leading to gradual yellowing, browning and complete death of weeds.

• Broad weed spectrum: Controls annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds, including Setaria viridis (foxtail), Imperata cylindrica (cogon grass), Cynodon dactylon (Bermuda grass), Phragmites australis and many tough invasive weeds.
• Long residual activity: Provides extended weed control in soil, suppresses weed regrowth for months.
• Two formulations available:
  1. Hexazinone 75% WDG (Water Dispersible Granule): High active ingredient content, low dust, easy to measure and dissolve in water. Ideal for field spray applications.
  2. Hexazinone 25% SL (Soluble Liquid): Liquid formulation, fast mixing, no sediment, convenient for large-volume spraying.
  3. Notes: Hexazinone has strong soil mobility. Avoid application near trees, crops, vegetables and water sources. It is recommended for non-crop areas, industrial sites, forest site preparation, roadside and wasteland weed control. Sensitive crops may be damaged by root uptake.

Application Method

General Application Guidance

1. Timing: Apply when target weeds are actively growing, at young to medium growth stage for best efficacy. Mature, well-established perennial weeds may require higher recommended rates.
2. Dilution:
   • 75% WDG: Weigh required granules, add to clean water while agitating, stir fully until completely dispersed before spraying.
   • 25% SL: Add required liquid to water and mix thoroughly.
3. Spray: Uniformly spray on weed foliage and surrounding soil surface. Good soil moisture improves root absorption and herbicide performance.
4. Dosage reference: Adjust application rate according to weed type, weed age and soil type. Higher rates are needed for deep-rooted perennial weeds.
5. Restrictions: Do not apply before heavy rainfall to prevent runoff. Do not use on crop land, or near fruit trees, ornamental plants. Keep away from drinking water, rivers and ponds

Storage & Safety

• Store in original sealed container, in cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Keep away from food, feed, children and livestock.
• Wear protective gloves, goggles and face mask during mixing and spraying. Avoid skin contact and inhalation.
• In case of accidental contact, rinse with plenty of clean water. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
• Dispose of empty packages in accordance with local waste regulations. Do not reuse empty containers.
