Product Description
Paclobutrazol 15% WP Plant Growth Regulator
Paclobutrazol inhibits gibberellin synthesis, promoting lateral bud growth and strong seedling development. It achieves this by inhibiting the conversion of endo-kaurene to endo-kaurenoic acid and sterol synthesis via demethylation inhibition, thereby controlling cell division rates. This product weakens the top growth advantage of rice seedlings, encouraging tillering and the cultivation of robust seedlings.
Scope of Application and Method of Application:
| Crop/Location | Target Pest | Dosage (Prepared Dosage/Acre) | Application Method |
| Peanut | Growth Regulation | 30-50 g/acre | Follicular Spray |
Technical Requirements:
1. It is recommended to apply as a foliar spray during the peanut flowering to pod-forming stage.
2. Do not apply on windy or rainy days.
3. This product should be used no more than once per peanut crop season.
Product Performance:
This product is a triazole plant growth regulator. It regulates plant growth and development by altering the hormonal balance within the plant, inhibiting stem elongation, dwarfing plants, increasing tillering, improving stress resistance, and increasing yield.
Precautions:
1. Wear protective clothing, a mask, and rubber gloves when preparing and applying the pesticide to avoid skin and eye contamination. Change clothes and wash hands, face, and contaminated skin promptly after application.
2. Do not mix with alkaline pesticides or other alkaline substances.
3. This product is toxic to bees, birds, silkworms, their natural enemy Trichogramma wasps, and some aquatic organisms. Avoid polluting rivers and other water bodies during use. It is prohibited near aquaculture areas, ponds, and other bodies of water. Do not wash application equipment in rivers or ponds. Avoid application during the flowering period of flowering plants. Keep away from silkworm breeding areas and bird sanctuaries.
4. If excessive dosage is used and causes excessive growth inhibition in crops, nitrogen fertilizer or gibberellin can be sprayed to counteract the effect.
5. Paclobutrazol degrades slowly in soil. After harvesting, plow the field and expose it to sunlight before sowing other crops to prevent inhibitory effects on subsequent crops.
6. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid contact.
7. Used containers should be properly disposed of and not reused or discarded carelessly.
