Atrazine 20%.Nicosulfuron 4% OD + Nicosulfuron 5%. Terbuthylazine 28% OD

are a new triketone herbicide can be used for pre- or post-emergence control of annual broadleaf weeds and certain grass weeds in cornfields,

primarily targeting major field broadleaf weeds such as burdock,  lambsquarters, amaranth, dock, nightshade, and ragweed,

as well as young-stage grass weeds like barnyardgrass, crabgrass, setaria, and arm grass.

Mode of Action

Atrazine 20%. Nicosulfuron 4% OD + Nicosulfuron 5%. Terbuthylazine 28% OD

are an effective inhibitor of HPPD (4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase), an enzyme widely present in various organisms that catalyzes the initial reaction of plastoquinone and tocopherol biosynthesis.

The optimal pH of this enzyme in phosphate buffer is 7.3, but its activity range is relatively broad; when the temperature increases from 23^oC to the optimal 30^oC,

its activity doubles. Inhibition of HPPD leads to tyrosine accumulation and plastoquinone depletion in plant meristems, resulting in plant whitening and gradual death.

lambsquarters, amaranth, smartweed, nightshade, and giant ragweed, as well as young-stage grass weeds like barnyardgrass, crabgrass, setaria, and arm grass.

Mesotrione OD is used for soil surface treatment before sprouting in corn field or spray of stems and leaves after seedling, absorption of grass, young roots, young buds and leaves,

and conduction of xylem and phloem. The dosage before sprouting is 200~300g/hm2, and 100~150g/hm2 after seedling.
