Glufosinate-ammonium salt should be used during the vigorous growth period of weeds, avoiding hot and dry weather. The dosage should be adjusted according to the type and density of weeds to ensure optimal effectiveness and safety. The following points should be noted when using it:

  1. First, the timing of application. Glufosinate-ammonium salt mainly controls weeds through contact action; therefore, it should be used during the vigorous growth period of weeds, when their leaves have the strongest ability to absorb the herbicide, resulting in the best control effect. Avoid application under conditions of high temperature, drought, or strong winds to prevent affecting efficacy and crop safety.

When applying the herbicide between rows after crop emergence, a protective nozzle must be installed on the sprayer for targeted spraying to prevent spraying directly onto the crops, which could lead to phytotoxicity from the glufosinate-ammonium salt.
