August 11, 2026
The core use of 50% aqueous solution of melamine is as a dormancy terminator (sleep disruptor) for deciduous fruit trees, as well as a pesticide/pharmaceutical intermediate and a small amount of industrial raw material.
Main application areas
Agricultural Sleep Breaking and Sprouting Promotion: Used for deciduous fruit trees such as grapes, cherries, peaches, kiwis, etc., to break winter dormancy, advance germination, flowering, and maturity by 7-15 days, improve uniformity, and are suitable for warm winter areas or facility cultivation.
Chemical synthesis intermediates: used as important raw materials for the synthesis of pesticides (such as carbendazim, imidacloprid, chlorsulfuron and other fungicides/insecticides/herbicides) and pharmaceuticals (such as cytarabine hydrochloride, thiourea, barbituric acid derivatives).
Other auxiliary functions: It has low toxicity insecticidal and bactericidal effects, as well as weak nitrogen fertilizer effects; There are a few applications in industries such as textiles and papermaking.
Key precautions for use
Timing of application: Generally, spray evenly on the bud of branches 15-20 days before the germination from the dormancy period of crops.
Safety warning: Irritable, strictly follow the dosage to avoid drug harm; Non sleep disrupting applications (such as direct use as fertilizers or broad-spectrum insecticides) are not the mainstream design purpose of its 50% aqueous solution
