Mode of Action

2,4-D is a premium selective systemic herbicide with outstanding internal absorption and conduction performance. Its salt formula is quickly and efficiently absorbed by crop and weed root systems, while the ester formula is easily adsorbed and penetrated by weed foliage. After absorption, the active ingredients will conduct and accumulate continuously in the meristem areas of weed roots and shoots, disrupting the normal growth mechanism of weeds, inhibiting cell division and growth, and finally leading to the complete death of target weeds, with thorough weeding effect and low recurrence rate.

Application Scope & Dosage

Widely applicable for post-emergence weed control, it can efficiently eliminate annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds. It is suitable for large-scale planting scenarios including cereals, corn, sorghum, pasture, mature turf, grass seed crops, pome and stone fruit orchards, cranberry, asparagus, sugarcane, rice, forestry lands, as well as non-crop lands and waterside buffer zones. The recommended application dosage ranges from 0.28-2.3 kg per hectare, with flexible dosage and strong adaptability. It also works excellently on broad-leaved aquatic weeds. The isopropyl ester variant can serve as a plant growth regulator to prevent citrus premature fruit drop and improve yield.
